About the role
Geospatial technology is full of jargon, and most writing about it is unreadable. Your job is to be the exception.
You'll write the blog posts, case studies, documentation, and web copy that make our work legible to the people who need it — from council managers to CTOs.
What you'll do
- Write technical blog posts and client case studies
- Produce clear documentation for our products and projects
- Write and maintain website copy
- Apply SEO fundamentals without writing for robots
- Edit and sharpen the team's writing
What we're looking for
- A portfolio of published technical or B2B writing
- The ability to interview an engineer and come back with a story
- Plain-English instincts and a hatred of filler
- Self-direction — you find the story, we don't hand you briefs
Nice to have
- A science, geography, or software background
- Developer documentation experience
- Working knowledge of Markdown and basic HTML
